Mrs. Tamez believes that all students will learn provided they are afforded a safe and positive learning environment with a strong emphasis on quality instruction by our nurturing and caring teachers. She feels strongly about having well-rounded students encouraged to excel in the 3As- Academics, Arts and Athletics. Mrs. Tamez is a proud parent and employee of HCISD who loves attending and supporting all of her students at their events. She spends her spare time appreciating every minute spent with her daughter, husband and family, and she makes extra time to coach her daughter’s basketball team.
