District Governor Ellison Crider was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He and his wife Fay currently own the Buddy’s Home Furnishings franchise in Corpus Christi and Robstown, Texas.
Ellison joined the Corpus Christi Sunrise Rotary club in 1985, one week after it was chartered. After his daughter Lauren was born he joined the Corpus Christi Southside Club in 1990, where he served as board member, Rotary Foundation Chair, and president. After starting the business he joined the Corpus Christi Evening Club in 2015.
Ellison got his start at District involvement with planning District Conferences. He has also been assistant district governor, lieutenant governor and District Rotary Foundation Chair.
Ellison is a Paul Harris Fellow +8 and a member of the Paul Harris Society and Bequest Society. Fay and Lauren are Paul Harris Fellows as well. Ellison and Fay are also Major Donors to the Rotary Foundation.
