My name is Tre' Peacock. I'm 43 and am married to Janette Peacock. We have three adult daughters and four grand-children. I was born in Harlingen, but was raised in The Woodlands, TX through my early grade school years. In the summer of 1990, after my freshman year of high school, I decided I wanted to move to Harlingen and live with my Dad. It was the best decision this 15 yr. old ever made. I finished high school as a Harlingen Cardinal in 1993, the last class before they split into two different high schools. I went SWT to "study" but only got a degree in fraternity life. After a couple of years, I moved back to Harlingen, finished my studies at The University of Texas Brownsville, and started my career in the family construction business. In 2002, when my father's business partner decided to retire, my Dad created a new company, Peacock General Contractor Inc., where I would assume the President/CEO position.
I have served on many boards locally including Current Chairman of the P&Z Commission and Chair of the Harlingen Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. I'm an avid Houston Astros fan. Every April 1st, my wife and I fly to Sir Lanka and race the peacocks we raise.
