Joel Vincent
Joel Vincent was born in Billings, Montana and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he attended local Spanish schools through 9th grade. His family moved back to the USA in time for him to go to high school in Harlingen Texas, back when there was only Harlingen High School. He attended college at Harding University in Searcy Arkansas, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Shortly after graduation he married Teleshia, and then moved to the “The Valley” in New Hampshire/Vermont; part of the Connecticut River valley. In New Hampshire Joel worked for several software start-up companies, and eventually got into Healthcare software development when he was the Lead Engineer for software quality at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. During the time in New Hampshire Joel & Teleshia had a couple of children that encouraged them to move closer to family. And so, in 2007 they moved back to the Rio Grande Valley, where their 3rd, and final, child was born. In the RGV Joel moved from Software Engineering to Information Technology & Service. Joel has been with Valley Baptist Hospital in several roles since the summer of 2008. Joel is currently employed with Valley Baptist Physician Network as a Market Operations Manager. He joined The Rotary Club of Harlingen in 2009 and is currently the President Elect, and he also serves as the co-chair for the District Youth Exchange program.
