Crisis in Ukraine
Nick Mazik was the guest speaker at our last meeting.  Nick has spent the last two years abroad living and studying in former Soviet states behind the Iron Curtain, most notably including Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, the Balkans, Romania, and Central Asia.  He has most recently spent time in Ukraine during the current unrest and troubles with Russia and has spent the last year studying the events leading up to the current crisis, the evolving escalation, and the possible future outcomes for Ukraine, Russia, and Eastern Europe.   He gave us a summary of his studies and experiences in Ukraine and closed by answering questions from the floor.
