Hello Rotary Harlingen! This week we have one of my favorite Rotary events; inducting new members! Tomorrow we will be officially inducting Dr. Bonnie De La Rosa Villarreal and Zac Coventry as members of the Club! Be sure to join us and welcome both of these fantastic community minded people.
Tomorrow's meeting will also feature an announcement of our signature project for the Club Centennial. You won't want to miss the amazing plans we have for a gift to the City in what will be a SUBSTANTIAL permanent gift.
Duke. North Carolina. Texas. Kansas. Gonzaga. UTRGV. Who will win it all and who will be this year's Cinderella? You tell us! We are having a Harlingen Rotary NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge to have fun, raise funds for a local nonprofit, and for someone to earn bragging rights! Entries are $20 a bracket and the winner takes home half of the total funds AND gets to pick the local nonprofit of their choice to receive the rest.
SHRIMPFEST MONEY IS DUE! - Please bring your checks, cash, etc. to next meeting so we can reconcile the books and start giving it back to the Community.
Centennial Gala Update!
The Board is hard at work on this Summer's Centennial Gala and we need YOUR HELP! If you want to be involved in planning this event PLEASE reach out a board member and we will find a spot on the team for you. This is going to be a fun night to relax and celebrate at is NOT a working event for the Club and attendees.
