The Rotary Club of Harlingen wrapped up its final program meeting of the Rotary year on June 12 with an engaging presentation by Marianela Caballero, M.Ed., LPC, a highly respected counselor and mental health advocate serving the Rio Grande Valley. 🎉
Drawing on more than 20 years of professional experience, Marianela shared perspectives on mental health, emotional wellness, and the importance of fostering healthy relationships and strong support systems within our families, workplaces, and communities. 🧠💙
Throughout her career, Marianela has served as a career counselor, school counselor, psychotherapist, and private practitioner, helping countless individuals navigate life's challenges and achieve personal growth. Her thoughtful presentation encouraged meaningful discussion and highlighted the value of prioritizing mental well-being. 🤝✨
We are grateful to Marianela for closing out our Rotary year with such an informative and impactful program. Her message served as a timely reminder that investing in mental health strengthens not only individuals, but entire communities. 🌱

During their visit, District Governor Elaine Hernandez also took the opportunity to recognize PDG Eddie Bartnesky for his outstanding service to Rotary and District 5930. Eddie was presented with a District Service Award Certificate in recognition of his exceptional efforts in promoting The Rotary Foundation and its goals of world understanding and peace. 🌎🕊️🏅

Join the Rotary Club of Harlingen for our Summer Social on Friday, June 19, at 12:00 p.m. at The Point, as we close out the Rotary year in the spirit of Rotary Fellowship Month. What better way to conclude a successful year than by gathering with friends, fellow Rotarians, and guests for good conversation, great food, and plenty of fellowship?
We're especially excited to host this year's Summer Social at The Point, owned by fellow Rotarian Dillon Dawi, whose hospitality and support of our community make this a perfect venue for our year-end gathering.
