Thank you to everyone who made last Friday’s Club Assembly a strong and inspiring launch to the new Rotary year. The energy in the room was real — full of laughter, focus, and shared commitment.
A special thanks to our board members, both present and participating from afar, for laying out clear goals and priorities for their respective areas. Your preparation and vision set the tone for the work ahead.
This year, we’re embracing the message to Make Service Personal. That means listening better, acting boldly, and connecting more deeply with the people we serve — and with one another. Last Friday reminded us just how powerful we can be when we show up with purpose and heart.

We are proud to welcome Lidia Cantu, Community Education, Outreach, and Volunteer Coordinator for the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Cameron and Willacy Counties.
With a background in social work and healthcare, Lidia has expanded outreach across nearly every school district in the region, reaching more than 10,000 students. Her work reflects a deep commitment to advocacy, education, and building safer communities.

In partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Harlingen, we’ll be serving 80 local children with school essentials and joy through this annual tradition. Powered by a generous anonymous donor and the commitment of our members.
