🌟 Inspiring Excellence at Harlingen School of Health Professions with Dr. Tina Garza 🌟

It was an inspiring afternoon at Rotary Club of Harlingen as we welcomed Dr. Tina Garza, proud principal of Harlingen School of Health Professions 🏫. Joined by two outstanding students πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ“, Dr. Garza shared the remarkable story of a campus that continues to transform lives.

Over the past 12 years, the school has achieved nearly 600 graduates πŸŽ“ and is preparing to celebrate the largest graduating class in its history. The room was filled with pride πŸ‘ as we recognized a campus that exemplifies leadership, service, and academic excellence.

As founding principal, Dr. Garza has built a thriving learning community that prepares students for real-world challenges in healthcare and beyond πŸ’‘. Her insights on education, leadership, and community impact were a powerful reminder of what is possible when passion and purpose align with opportunity, a true reflection of Service Above Self 🀝.

πŸ“£ Women in Rotary Forum, This Friday, March 6

Join us Friday, March 6 at Golden Palms with a special start time of 11:30 am for an empowering Women in Rotary Forum featuring an incredible lineup of speakers.

This event highlights the vital role women have played in shaping Rotary’s mission of service and community leadership. While women were first admitted into Rotary in 1987, breaking longstanding barriers, since then they have become transformative leaders at every level of the organization, driving projects, mentoring future leaders, and advancing Rotary’s core values of fellowship and service above self.

Bring your colleagues, come ready to be inspired, and connect with voices that are making an impact across our community.

We are also looking forward to our Women in Rotary Forum this Friday, where we will celebrate the growing legacy of women in Rotary leadership while hearing from inspiring speakers who continue shaping our future through service, mentorship, and impact.

We were especially honored to hear from Dr. Tina Garza, Principal of Harlingen School of Health Professions, whose dedication to student success and opportunity reminds us that education and strong leadership truly change lives.

As we begin March, we also recognize March as Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Month - a global Rotary focus on improving access to clean water, supporting healthy living conditions, and strengthening communities around the world.

I am proud to serve alongside all of you as we carry this momentum forward. Let’s continue leading with purpose, supporting one another, and making a lasting difference across the Valley and beyond. ✨🀝
