As the great 20th century philosopher, Bocephus once opined; "ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!?!"  Next week, August 5th, is our annual Coaches' Forum Presentation to the Club.  We are lucky to have the head coaches of Harlingen High, Marine Military Academy, and, ahem, defending Bird Bowl Champs, Harlingen South speak to the club about the upcoming season.  This will be a fun, energetic event with marching bands, cheerleaders, and more.  Be sure to show your school pride and dress in the gear of your favorite school as we will be awarding the Rotarian who shows the most school spirit.  Thanks to Shane and Kristen for organizing this event. 

 

Also, don't forget, tomorrow is our first Happy Hour Social of the year.  We will be meeting at Station 1 Bar and Grill located at 1662 Sam Houston Drive.  Bring a friend, bring your spouse, bring a co-worker, and bring yourself.  There is no meeting on Friday of this week.

 

Thank you to those Rotarians who worked the COVID Vaccination Clinic this last week for your continued work to keep our community healthy.  You are rock stars of the club in giving your time and efforts on a Saturday morning.
