Last week we were inspired by Orlando Campos of Harlingen EDC, who shared valuable insights on fueling economic growth and empowering community prosperity in the RGV. This week, as we recognize World Polio Day on October 24, we’ll shift our focus to global health with Dr. Robinson, who will speak on the fight to end polio and the lasting impact of prevention and awareness. His message will remind us that true community progress depends not only on economic growth but also on the health and well-being of all.

On Saturday, October 18th, the Rotary Club of Harlingen joined fellow Rotarians and community leaders at the International Peace Summit. It was a day filled with hope, connection, and meaningful conversations about how we can build peace right here at home and around the world.

We left feeling energized and reminded that peace starts with understanding, kindness, and action—one person, one project, one community at a time.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped make the day so special.

Together, we’re proving that when Rotary shows up, good things happen.
đź’™ Service Above Self, always.
