Friday's Rotary meeting held Dec 4th gave our guest speaker, Joey Trevino, an excellent opportunity to update our Rotary
club on the latest with regard to supply/demand/status of the Association General Contractors of America (AGC of America).
Like many businesses affected by the ongoing pandemic, Mr. Trevino discussed the impact when construction material deliveries, namely lumber, were delayed due to transportation, shortages and/or labor issues.
Part of AGC's culture is to also provide job training in construction related fields in coordination with the Texas Workforce Commission.
The AGC of America works to ensure the continued success of the commercial construction industry which involves advocating
at the federal, state and local levels that support the industry.
