☀️ A Wonderful Finish to the Rotary Year at Our Summer Social! 🍹

🌴🤝The Rotary Club of Harlingen wrapped up another successful Rotary year with a fantastic Summer Social at The Point, held during Rotary's Fellowship Month.

Members and guests enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of fellowship, conversation, and reflection as we celebrated a year of service, leadership, and community impact. The event provided an opportunity to reconnect, strengthen friendships, and recognize the relationships that make Rotary so meaningful.

A highlight of the afternoon was the official launch of the Rotary Club of Harlingen's 🌟 FutureReady Initiative 🌟, our 2025-2026 Presidential Signature Project. Inspired by Rotary International's Unite for Good message, District 5930's Butterfly Effect, and our club's commitment to Make Service Personal, the initiative focuses on supporting organizations that help prepare youth, individuals, and families for long-term success.

The FutureReady Initiative was exceptionally well received by attendees and community partners alike. During the celebration, Rotary recognized several outstanding organizations that are creating opportunities, strengthening families, developing future leaders, and helping build a brighter future for our community:

Representatives from each organization shared how they plan to utilize FutureReady Initiative funding to expand programs, serve more individuals and families, and create lasting impact throughout our community. Their presentations highlighted the meaningful work already taking place and the opportunities ahead through this collaborative investment in the future.

This special celebration recognized the collective efforts of our Rotarians, volunteers, sponsors, donors, and community supporters whose dedication continues to turn service into meaningful impact.

A special thank you to fellow Rotarian Dillon Dawi and the team at The Point for their warm hospitality and for providing the perfect setting for our year-end gathering.

As we begin a new Rotary year, we are grateful for the dedication of our members, the impact of our service projects, and the partnerships that continue to strengthen our club and community.

🎉 The Countdown Is On: Awards & Installation Banquet Approaching! 🎉

As we prepare to close another outstanding Rotary year, one of our most anticipated events is just around the corner, the Rotary Club of Harlingen Awards & Installation Banquet, taking place on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.

This special evening is an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments, service, and dedication that have defined our club throughout the past year. Together, we will recognize members who have gone above and beyond in service to Rotary, honor significant achievements, and reflect on the impact our club has made in the community.

The banquet also marks an important transition as we install our incoming officers and directors, welcoming a new leadership team that will guide the club into another year of service above self. It is always a meaningful occasion as we express our gratitude to those who have served and look ahead to the opportunities that await us.

Most importantly, the evening is a celebration of fellowship, friendship, and the shared commitment that brings us together as Rotarians. We encourage members to invite spouses, family members, and friends to join us for this memorable event.
