Today's Meeting:

Its time to Deck the Halls and Jingle Bells with the St Anthony's Children's Choir at Rotary today.  Come join the fun!

Stories
Jennifer Johnson-Wilson was the guest speaker at our last meeting.  Jennifer is the daughter of our own Past President Alan Johnson.  Her presentation was centered on the different varieties and species of roses.  She displays over 50 different types of roses in their demonstration garden in Harlingen.  Jennifer states that the best time to plant roses in this area is in October and November.  This gives the plant a chance to grow before the harsh heat of the summer sets in.  Consumers can purchase roses directly from her or they can order online at www.antiqueroseemporium.com.  She closed by answering questions.
This Saturday, December 6 is our first Rotary Habitat Build day!
