DUES Final Warning: Members who have not paid dues or contacted the Board about payment will be removed from the membership rolls this month and may not be able to attend future meetings. We have some excellent speakers coming up and BIG announcements. Please do not miss out on these opportunities. The Club has already paid your dues to Rotary International on your behalf and we are only a few months from next year's dues. Please help us from having an awkward conversation.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Jill Fleuriet as our speaker this week. Dr. Fleuriet is a Professor of Anthropology, Acting Dean of the Honors College, and Associate Dean for Faculty Success in the College of Liberal and Fine Arts at the University of Texas - San Antonio.
During her visit to the Harlingen Rotary Club, Dr. Fleuriet will discuss her recent book. It focuses on how and why ideas and beliefs about the Valley are created and circulated in ways that influence how Valley leaders are able to promote our region. She will present how Valley leaders have alternative ways to lead our communities, which can be models for the state and nation.

Nominations are now open for the 2023 Harlingen Walk of Fame Honors. Applications are listed below and will be at the meeting this week. Nominations are due by February 15th.
