FELLOW ROTARIANS,
Before we begin this new Rotary year, I want to take a moment to thank Immediate Past President Chris Boswell for his steady leadership and dedication throughout the past year. Under his guidance — and with the support of his board — our club remained active, focused, and true to Rotary’s core values. We’re grateful for their service and the strong foundation they’ve left for us to build on.
I’m honored to step into the role of President as we begin this new Rotary year together. Thank you for the trust you’ve placed in me; it’s a privilege to lead such a dedicated and service-driven group.
As we enter this new year, our collective journey will be guided by three interconnected themes. On the international stage, Rotary calls us to Unite for Good—to join hands beyond borders and make a positive global impact. At the district level, we embrace The Butterfly Effect, recognizing that even small actions can trigger significant, far-reaching change. And here in our club, my theme is simple but powerful: Make Service Personal.
I challenge each of us to think boldly, act intentionally, and serve personally. Let’s focus on projects that truly matter. Let’s build relationships before checklists. When Rotary shows up in our community, it must be clear that we’re listening and here for the long haul.
Our first meeting of the year is set for Friday, July 11, and it will be a Club Assembly. This is more than a typical meeting; it’s our chance to align, reconnect, and set the tone for the year ahead. We’ll share our vision and goals for 2025–2026, introduce the new Board of Directors, and roll out some fresh menu options that we hope you’ll enjoy. But most importantly, this is about renewing our shared commitment to Service Above Self to each other, to our community, and to the ideals that brought us to Rotary in the first place.
"The best way to predict the future is to create it." — Peter Drucker
This year, let’s be purposeful in engagement, impactful in service, and intentional in building meaningful relationships within our club and throughout the community. Rotary is evolving, and we will too. Let’s be bold in how we serve, creative in how we grow, and intentional in how we lead.
I look forward to seeing each of you on Friday as we kick off this new chapter—together.
In Rotary Service,
Victor
President, 2025–2026
