SERVICE PROJECTS:
Our drive to support the Harlingen Humane Society was a great success! Thank you to all those who contributed your efforts to help our four legged friends in the community. Special thanks to Sumer Knight, Tre' Peacock, Janette Peacock, and Kathy Preddy for helping deliver the items.
Have a great week, and don't forget to bring your friends, spouses, and future Rotarians to our Happy Hour Social!
Thank you to Dr. Jessica Hruska, Superintendent Dr. Alicia Noyola, and Bonham Principal Jaymie Galan of Harlingen CISD for their excellent presentation on Blended Learning to our Club on September 16th. Dr. Hruska gave us a breakdown of what Blended Learning is, Principal Galan gave specific examples of its' practice, and Dr. Noyola informed us about the future usage of the technique in our schools. Thanks to all the HCISD officials who shared their time!
