The 2026 Harlingen Walk of Fame was one of those unforgettable evenings.

Just days before the event, we nearly had to relocate. Then, hours before the ceremony itself, the electricity went out. But somehow, none of it stopped what the night was truly about, honoring lives that have shaped Harlingen for generations.

If anything, the challenges made the evening even more meaningful.

This year, the Rotary Club of Harlingen proudly honored:

⭐ Dr. Veronica Kortan
⭐ Henry Roberts, honored in memoriam

These individuals represent service, leadership, compassion, and an unwavering love for our community. Their impact reaches far beyond titles or accomplishments, it lives in the people they inspired and the lives they changed.

The Walk of Fame is more than a ceremony. It is a reminder that legacy matters, that service matters, and that Harlingen is stronger because of those willing to give so much of themselves to others.
