Jarret Barker was the guest speaker at our last Rotary meeting.  Jarret is a Sergeant Game Warden with Texas Parks & Wildlife and has been with them for over 16 years.  His territory of responsibility includes Cameron & Hidalgo Counties.  He performs many duties but his specialty is Boat Accident Investigations.  He used a power-point presentation that included photos of the many things that he encounters on a typical day.  Protecting our wildlife is their primary function, but they are actually State Police and provide assistance to local police, Department of Public Safety and Border Patrol.  He closed by answering many questions.
