My Fellow Rotarian,
We will be meeting at the Harlingen Library today at noon. Food will be catered by Jason's Deli, $10 per meal and $12 per salad.
Our guest speakers will be Captain Ben and Captain Wendy Deuel with the Salvation Army.  They are currently serving as the Pastors and Administrators of The Salvation Army's ministry here in Harlingen.
This December will be a busy month for us and I'm asking for your help:
1) We will be partnering up with Training For Warriors to help feed 250 families.  Please bring non-perishable items, for example:  instant potatoes, gravy packets, stuffing, canned yams, green beans, and corn.  The plan is to deliver the food boxes on Saturday the 18th.  More details to follow.
2) The Rotaract Club at TSTC will be providing toys for The Family Crisis Center.  They have asked if our Club will help them by donating toys, and/or gift cards.
3) The HHS Interact Club is having a Doggy Fashion Show on Saturday, December 4th at the Centennial Park to benefit the Harlingen Humane Society.
4) We are planning a membership Christmas Party so stay tuned!

  • Zoom works best on a full-sized computer, instead of on your phone.  This is especially true for being able to see other participants.
  • Zoom works best when you're using a stable video camera, like on a computer, instead of trying to hold your phone
  • If you're not speaking, please mute your line.
  • If you are sitting in a room with somebody else on the same meeting, one of you will have to mute your line and turn your volume all the way down, to avoid feedback.
  • Try to avoid bright lights behind you, so we can see you.
