Thank you to last week's speaker, Danny Castillo, who briefed the club on the important actions that HCISD is taking to keep our children and educators safe.  We appreciate him, Superintendent Noyola, school board members, and HCISD administrators who all came to answer questions and inform the community.

Last week was our annual Coaches' Forum and we were lucky to have Coaches Manny Gomez, Israel Gonzalez, and Bobby Lucio speaking on behalf of Harlingen High, Harlingen South, and Marine Military Academy.  A huge thanks to the cheer squads from each school, the Vela Middle School drumline, MC Eladio Jaimez, and, especially, Kristen Luckey, Shane Strubhart, and Charlie Abrego for putting on such a great event.  We heard about what to expect from the the schools this year, as well as how the coaches approach their roles.  Thanks to all who attended and participated!
